First responders are the frontline heroes for any disastrous situation which is what 9-1-1 is all about. Needless to say, the audience is meant to root for these everyday heroes no matter if they are a firefighter, a 911 operator, or a cop. These characters face immense danger and emotional trauma all while saving the day. The Ryan Murphy show has created some beloved characters who all have their own flaws that they need to deal with, but they are able to put them aside when that emergency bell goes off.
