Directed by Melvin LeRoy, The Bad Seed is an unsettling psychological thriller that helped to establish the creepy-child subgenre. In 2022, a made-for-TV sequel entitled The Bad Seed Returns was released, making fans wonder what happened to the original cast from 1956.
