Over the past few days, the internet has been in a frenzy after rumors spread that Pedro Pascal will likely take on the role of Reed Richards, also known as Mister Fantastic, in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie set to be a part of the MCU. Pascal entered the fray after talks with Jake Gyllenhaal ceased because he reportedly cost more than the studio was willing to pay. Currently set for release in May 2025, Fantastic Four has yet to make any definitive announcements regarding the film’s casting decisions, but speculations regarding Pascal are almost certain. Given how many times The Fantastic Four has attempted to make a revival on the big screen, Pascal’s potential involvement could mean the newest iteration will be worth watching.
