Just a few days ago, half of the Smothers Brothers passed away. Tom Smothers died at the age of 86 due to his battle with cancer. We are all saddened by this news – especially the other half of the Smothers Brothers: the younger brother himself, Dick Smothers. The brother duo had stuck by each other since the start of both their personal and professional lives. It's because of them that television, as we know it today, is so different.
