The Friday the 13th remake is celebrating its 15th anniversary. When it opened on Feb. 13, 2009, there were hopes that new life had been given to Jason Voorhees and his murderous rampages across Crystal Lake. The character had already taken Manhattan, was dragged to hell, took a trip to outer space, and even crossed over with A Nightmare on Elm Street's Freddy Krueger, so dipping his toes into the remake waters seemed like an inevitable destination.
