And at the 30th SAG Awards, Shalhoub showed up with some hand sanitizer in honor of the world’s greatest detective, Mr. Monk. And “here’s what happened,” as Shalhoub reflected on returning to the role after playing the eccentric former detective on television for eight seasons.
