Dollface actress Kat Dennings has joined Tim Allen for the ABC pilot Shifting Gears, Deadline reports. Dennings has been cast as Riley, Allen's character's estranged daughter who "butted heads with her father growing up and left to marry the boyfriend he hated." Now newly divorced, she is forced to move back to her father's home (along with her two kids), hoping she and her dad can make it work.
