Seven years after the release of Blade Runner 2049, the franchise is headed to the small screen thanks to Prime Video, with Academy Award-winner Michelle Yeoh set to star in Blade Runner 2099. Yeoh became the first actress of Asian descent to win an Oscar, for her performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once, and since then has appeared in a plethora of movies, including The School for Good and Evil, and A Haunting in Venice, while also lending her voice to characters in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Minions: The Rise of Gru, and The Tigers Apprentice.
