By releasing A Family Affair on June 28, Netflix has introduced another movie that is supposed to contribute to the current revival of the rom-com genre. Offering a promising foundation for romance, comedy, and a tiny bit of drama, the movie tells the story of an insufferable movie star, his young assistant, and her single mother. Chaos is inevitable when love sparks between the star and the mom.
