Four Brothers is a great film. Audiences seem to think so; the film received a positive 80% rating from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes. Its box office success — the film made three times its budget — could have also been a sign of their affection. But, in spite of audience approval and a decent box office take, critics have been less than impressed. Critics gave the film a 53% rotten rating on Rotten Tomatoes. And while it is almost certain that they had their reasons why, that doesn’t stop them from being absolutely wrong.
