Blue Mountain State was a college football comedy TV series that ran for three seasons on Spike TV in the early 2010s, and starred Reacher's Alan Ritchson as linebacker Thad Castle. The show developed a cult following when it streamed on Netflix, and in Feb. 2024, it was announced that the series would get a fourth season from Lionsgate Television, with stars Ritchson, Darin Brooks, and co-creator / actor Chris Romano returning. And now it looks like Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video may give the greenlight very soon, according to Deadline.
