After its Valentine's Day release, Netflix's latest rom-com, La Dolce Villa, took the number one spot on the streaming service's Top 10 movies. The film, which translates to "The Sweet Villa," stars Scandal actor Scott Foley as Eric Field, who rushes to Tuscany, Italy, after his daughter, Olivia Field (Maia Reficco), decides to purchase a crumbling villa to restore it herself. The two have an estranged relationship, and Eric isn't thrilled by Olivia's impulsive purchase, so he decides to leave his busy life and follow her to Italy to stop this rash decision. His plans, however, didn't account for a potential romance blossoming as he found himself falling for the town's mayor, Francesca (Violante Placido). It's a beautiful film that leaves viewers wanting more of the blooming romance in this picturesque setting.
