Netflix's Adolescence shocked the millions of viewers who have seen the four-part British drama about knife crime, toxic masculinity, and the normalization of violence against women. While everyone in the series, including Stephen Graham (who created and co-wrote the show), Ashley Walters, Faye Marsay, Erin Doherty, and Christine Tremarco, are amazing, few will argue that the standout star is Owen Cooper. The young actor plays Jamie Miller, who is accused of murdering one of his female classmates. Following the lauding of his performance by fans, Netflix has released the rising star's audition tape for the show, and it's just as haunting as his performance in the episodes.
