Over the course of their long and lauded career, the Coen Brothers applied their meticulous, sardonic style to any number of genres. They tackled crime movies like Miller's Crossing and Fargo, westerns like True Grit and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, and even a snappy rom-com in Intolerable Cruelty. But there was one genre they never faced head-on: the horror genre.
