James Gunn's Superman is set to soar in theaters next week, and it already seems that the DCU will be off to a record-breaking start, according to some impressive box office estimates. After the DCEU, which began with Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, went out with a whimper after The Flash and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, the potential success of a reboot has been uncertain. With DC Studios seemingly confident with Superman as the foundation of their new universe, any worries about it flopping during the jam-packed movie summer can be put to bed.
