Steven Spielberg is unquestionably one of the most lauded film directors of all time — but there was a time when he thought his career was over before it'd even properly begun. On Wednesday, Sept. 10, while attending a preview for Jaws: The Exhibition at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, Spielberg admitted that he hadn't been "prepared" when he went into filming his hit creature feature, and opened up about the seemingly never-ending difficulties the cast and crew experienced throughout the grueling 158-day shoot.
