When I watched the eight episodes of the Apple TV+ series The Savant for review, I had some strong thoughts. The series, about a woman who infiltrates online extremist groups, was being released at either the perfect moment or the worst possible time, depending on perception. Apple, it appears, has decided on the latter, as the show’s original release date of September 26 has been indefinitely postponed, presumably in response to the current political climate.
