Upon her passing on October 11, 2025, Diane Keaton left behind 55 years worth of performances. Later films in Keaton's filmography were so safe they could air on the Hallmark Channel. Increasingly typecast in the eighties onward, she was never able to find the kind of intense roles like those in the seventies, winning an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in the 1977 Best Picture Winner Annie Hall. That year marks the apex of her career, standing out in two radically different films.
