Marvel Studios has taken major steps forward in reviving the Defenders Saga story, which first aired on Netflix from 2015 to 2019. This has largely come through in the first two seasons of Daredevil: Born Again, which revived the rivalry between Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock and Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk and fully integrated the Netflix shows into the fabric of the greater MCU. From Kingpin's reference to Spider-Man in Season 1 to the connections to Valentina Allegra de Fontaine in Season 2, this corner of the universe is finally feeling more connected to the greater story than ever before.
