Kit Harington's Jon Snow spent eight seasons as the closest thing Game of Thrones had to a main character, but since the show ended in 2019, the British star has struggled to break into another big franchise. A brief foray into the MCU as Dane Whitman in 2021's Eternals is probably the closest he's come, but the movie's mixed reception has resulted in a distinct lack of reprisals for that role. This isn't to say that Harington hasn't been working steadily since his Game of Thrones exit, but most of his recent roles have been one-off appearances in standalone projects that haven't had anywhere near the same profile as the HBO fantasy epic.
