Out of all the different types of films, horror movies hold a special place in many hearts because they get people's adrenaline going. Whether it's the highly anticipated scares, the disturbing and gory scenes, or the "what if" questions that typically follow after the credits begin rolling, there is a huge fan base for this genre. For these reasons, watching a horror movie in the theater can be a real treat because everyone seems to experience the same feelings at the exact same time. Individuals jumping out of their seats, popcorn going everywhere, and humorous commentary often puts people at ease because they know they are not alone with their fear.
