Back in April, Variety reported that a new live-action Scooby-Doo series was possibly in the works over on Netflix and would be put together by the combined effort of Midnight Banner and Berlanti Productions. Those names should ring familiar as the former helped bring titles like 2018s Venom, 2014s The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and both live-action TMNT movies to life. On the other hand, Berlanti crafted projects like Ryan Reynolds Free Guy, the entirety of CWs Arrowverse as well as the sports-based drama All American (another show on that network). Just a few examples from these studios prove that the classic Hanna Barbera cartoon is in good hands. But through which story directions will they present Scooby and the gang to streaming audiences? That is still a mystery.
