Wonder Man follows Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) as a struggling actor who is trying to land the lead role in a big-budget reboot of a classic superhero movie, Wonder Man. The series appears to be a meta-comedy about the superhero films and television shows Marvel Studios is best known for.
