Filmmaker Osgood Perkins made his feature directorial debut in 2015 with February, a slow, methodical, and isolating experience akin to Rosemary's Baby, The Shining, or, more recently, The House of the Devil. February would go on to be released as The Blackcoat's Daughter and earned an underwhelming reception, though it tipped horror fans off to his talents and kicked off his creepy career. Just in the last 18 months, Perkins has delivered three different horror movies to cinemas, making him one of the more prolific filmmakers in the genre space in recent years. Not only is the volume of his output impressive, but all three of these films have become some of the more talked-about experiences among horror fans.
