When it comes to DC-based television series, titles like Batman: The Animated Series, Smallville, and the various Arrowverse series loom large in the public consciousness. Yet the best might be the underrated Young Justice. Debuting on Cartoon Network with a special two-episode premiere the day after Thanksgiving in 2010, the series ran for two critically acclaimed seasons before being canceled in 2013. However, a passionate fan base and the dawn of the streaming era led to the series being revived, with Young Justice Season 3 debuting on the short-lived DC Universe streaming app on January 4, 2019, and Season 4 moving to HBO Max on October 16, 2021.
