Josh Safdie and A24's searing sports drama Marty Supreme opened on Christmas Day, earning roughly $9.5 million on the holiday alone. Timothée Chalamet has earned rave reviews for a career-best performance as Marty Mauser, a highly ambitious huckster who uses his wits and wiles to climb the ranks of the international table tennis circuit in the 1950s. Although A24 has yet to announce a streaming or VOD date, the film may be headed your way sooner rather than later.
