While it's commonplace these days for streaming services such as Netflix to tout their massive viewing numbers to prove a show's success, none of them have ever come close to matching the record-setting audience who all tuned in at the same time to watch a single episode of television more than 40 years ago. To this day, it's an achievement that's yet to be beat, and probably never will be.
