In honor of Friday the 13th, Mubi has released the first photos of Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miamsa, the latest film from director Jane Schoenbrun starring Gillian Anderson (The X-Files) and Hannah Einbinder (Hacks). Mubi also announced that Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miamsa will open in theaters on Aug. 7, 2026. The story follows a queer filmmaker who is given the chance to breathe new life into a popular horror franchise and attempts to cast the reclusive final girl of the original installment. This brings the two women into a world of desire, delirium, and fear.
