One of the biggest video game franchises,God of War, is getting a wider audience with the upcoming series adaptation from Amazon Prime Video that will aim to tell the beloved story of Kratos, a Spartan demigod, and his son, Atreus. The series, set to release in late 2027, is being led by showrunner Ronald D. Moore, best known for his work on Star Trek, and the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica television series, and while he has confessed to not being a gamer himself, his track record on series is impressive enough to ease fans' worries.
