After years of lackluster offerings, Eli Roth's Thanksgiving hit theaters in 2023 and reminded us of why he's such a force in the horror world. Early efforts like Cabin Fever and Hostel teased his provocative and gruesome storytelling sensibilities, though later movies like Death Wish, Knock Knock, and The Green Inferno fell a bit flat with audiences and critics. He even dabbled in family-leaning horror stories with The House with a Clock in Its Walls, as well as in documentary filmmaking with Fin. Now, Roth's next slasher has scored a release date, which could be the birth of a new slasher icon.
