Hollywood has been bringing William Shakespeare and his works to life for decades in a variety of ways. Some filmmakers attempt to be as accurate and authentic to the source material as possible, while others attempt to put their own spin on iconic works. Understandably, it's easy to glaze over any announcement of a new attempt at adaptation, given how it can feel like we've already seen it all. Then, we get Aneil Karia's Hamlet, which keeps Shakespeare's words but delivers them in contemporary London, depicting a rift in a South Asian community.
