In March 2026, Saturday Night Live took a new step outside the usual confines of New York City for the first season of Saturday Night Live U.K., set in the United Kingdom's capital city, London. Using a format similar to the American version of the show, which has run for over 50 years and aired over 1,000 episodes, the new spin-off features the U.K.'s best sketch comedy performers and musical performances, bringing in major celebrities every week to help bring barrels of laughs. The series brought on Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan (who later hosted Episode 5) and Regé-Jean Page to kick off the festivities, with other episodes hosted by Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey), Riz Ahmed (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), and Jack Whitehall (Jungle Cruise).
