Production for the Michael Jackson biopic has been saddled with rewrites, reshoots, and the Palisades Fire damaging the home of screenwriter John Logan. Michael is scheduled for release on Apr. 24, but the version that will make it to the big screen is significantly different from what was originally written, according to sources close to the production. Reportedly, a last-minute discovery completely changed what the movie could and couldn't say, forcing Logan and the producers to scrap a lot of material that had already been filmed.
