The second half of 2026's best horror double feature has finally been released to the masses, and while fans of Kane Parsons' popular web series will have some idea of what to expect, many horror fans will have questions after experiencing Backrooms for the first time. Starring Academy Award nominees Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve, A24's liminal horror movie Backrooms chronicles a jaded furniture salesman's discovery of a mysterious and dangerous extradimensional space sometimes referred to as The Complex or the Backrooms, and how it affects both him and his therapist, who finds herself trapped there while searching for her patient.
