For the first time in nearly a quarter of a century, Elle Woods will be back in a mainstream project with the release of the Elle series on Prime Video. Following Reese Witherspoon's portrayal of the character, who first came to life in 2001's Legally Blonde and 2003's Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, this series will feature 25-year-old Lexi Minetree in the titular role. Witherspoon also has an important role as an executive producer on the series. The show explores Elle Woods' teenage years in a prequel story, set years before she goes to Harvard University and becomes a star lawyer.
