It's been ten years since anIce Age movie was released in theaters, which was titled Ice Age: Collision Course in 2016. That was three years before Disney acquired 20th Century Fox, after which the animated series was put on ice for some time. The series returned with the spin-off The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild on Disney+ in 2022, but there was still no news of a theatrical return. Now, the first trailer has been released online for the long-awaited sixth installment. Disney has taken its time in bringing back the Fox animated film franchise that has always been profitable at the box office, with this being the longest wait between Ice Age films since 2002.
