Steven Spielberg has had such a prolific career that, when people attempt to associate him with one genre, it's a nearly impossible task. His latest movie, Disclosure Day, is firmly rooted in the world of sci-fi, but the nature of the premise is also heavily inspired by conspiracy thrillers. This is far from his first sci-fi outing, however, as early works like Close Encounters of the Third Kind and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial are both largely regarded as masterpieces. In this century, though, he also delivered impressive sci-fi adventures with Minority Report and War of the Worlds.
