Steven Spielberg is returning to the summer blockbuster season that he helped create with his latest film, Disclosure Day. The project was first reported back in 2024 as being about UFOs, with the director rekindling his interest in the subject. Spielberg most famously brought UFOs to life with Close Encounters of the Third Kind, a science fiction movie that has since become iconic for its spaceship imagery and score by John Williams. Now, the director has once again brought aliens back into the mix for the first time since 2008, and the first reviews from critics have begun pouring in online.
