George R.R. Martin might currently be raking in the cash as House of the Dragon's epic third season continues its successful run on HBO Max, but Martin's 100% rated dark thriller is also catching viewers' attention on a rival streamer. Game of Thrones was already a best-selling fantasy series before HBO got its hands on the rights. But the eight-season series (seven... maybe, six, if we're only counting the good seasons) took the franchise into the stratosphere. Two spin-offs have already been released, with many more in the works. As great as that success is, it often overshadows George R.R. Martin's other TV efforts, namely, a fantastic four-season crime thriller based on another hit book (not written by Martin). The show might not have anywhere near Game of Thrones viewership numbers, but, thankfully, it has still found a strong audience after landing on Netflix.
