HBO's upcoming adaptation of JK Rowling's Harry Potter books has long been marketed as a more faithful take on the beloved source material than the movies ever were. While there are already several ways to disprove that claim from the series' first trailer, one of them stands out more than the others – and no, it doesn't have anything to do with Papa Essiedu replacing Alan Rickman as Severus Snape. Instead, the trailer actually reveals that one of the movie's biggest changes made to a book character is being upheld by the HBO series.
