The 1970s had bohemian fashion, the 1980s had rock music, and the 1990s had some of the best television ever made. Having grown up in the '90s, I know it's not necessarily realistic to feel completely nostalgic for this time period. We can at least all agree that this decade had great sitcoms, dramas, and a few memorable sci-fi series. When thinking about the best '90s shows that could be called "masterpieces," I picked 10 truly impressive shows that made a mark on TV and don't feel dated. Sure, we might not wear some of the outfits that the characters do today, but we can still talk about their influence on their genres, their interesting characters, and their thoughtful themes.
