The Mandalorian and Grogu saw the return of Jabba the Hutt's son, Rotta. Rotta previously debuted in the 2008 animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars as a baby kidnapped by the Separatists and later rescued by Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano. The revelation that Jabba the Hutt had a son was a major retcon of the character that was largely ignored by the wider Star Wars franchise for years. Now played by Jeremy Allen White, Rotta is in the spotlight in The Mandalorian and Grogu.
