The record-breaking sequel series to Paramount's flagship series Yellowstone has already proven to be a worthy dramatic successor to Taylor Sheridan's original streaming juggernaut, and the latest episode just set a new benchmark for heartbreak for one of its key figures. With Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly reprising their roles as Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton, Dutton Ranch has so far acted as a de facto sixth season of Yellowstone, and has retained most of the neo-Western drama and strong writing that marked the very best of its predecessor.
